In this tutorial we will install IntelliJ IDEA

Please download free IntelliJ IDEA

https://www.jetbrains.com/idea/download/


Select "Community Edition FREE" Current version is 14.x



After the installation you want to go to preferences and open your PLUGINS setting, some of the necessary plugins will be:

  • Maven Integration
  • .gitignore support
  • JavaFX
  • Terminal
