Wyoming desert at 7000 feet

There is a stark difference between the beautiful and most majestic Grand Teton mountain range and the rest of Wyoming. 

Most of the state is awfully desolate and uninviting. I love nature and open spaces but I would not want to spend any more time than necessary in this semi-desert rocky wasteland.
